FOUNDER

Built on a
decade of
serious work.

Yutie Consulting is a one-person technology consultancy. That is not a limitation. It is the architecture. When you engage Yutie, you engage a single standing partner who knows your eight domains, holds your Shalom Score, and is accountable to you by name.

The person

Technology built
with the long view.

Eutychus Kamau Njuguna has spent more than a decade building technology infrastructure for organisations across East Africa: websites, operational systems, CRM platforms, and the full digital environment that serious businesses depend on. In that time, the work has touched more than 45 organisations, from Kenyan SMEs to international development firms, from consumer e-commerce brands to institutional infrastructure companies.

Yutie Consulting was founded on a conviction that the technology partner relationship should not be transactional. Projects end, but the environment those projects create does not go away. It degrades without stewardship. It fails to keep up with the business without someone actively holding it. The standing partner model is not a pricing structure. It is a philosophy about what responsible technology work actually looks like.

Operating between Nairobi and Cairo, Eutychus brings the perspective of someone who has built technology for organisations navigating complex, rapidly evolving environments. The eight-domain framework was not designed in a boardroom. It was distilled from a decade of watching businesses underinvest in one area while over-investing in another, and seeing the pattern repeat.

The approach

One partner.
Full accountability.

When a business signs a Yutie retainer, they are not hiring a team they will never meet. They are engaging a single person who will know their eight domains, hold their Shalom Score, attend their strategy session monthly, and be personally accountable for the quality of the work. That accountability is the product.

This is a deliberate limitation. Yutie operates with a finite number of active partnerships at any time. Not because of capacity constraints, but because the standing partner model requires genuine depth of knowledge about each client's environment. You cannot hold eight domains across twelve organisations with the depth required if you are spread across fifty.

The organisations that get the most from a Yutie partnership are the ones that want a standing partner, not a project vendor. They want someone who already knows their environment when something needs to change, who does not need a briefing to respond, and who will still be there in the long years after the initial build is done.

Six operating principles.

Not aspirations. The actual commitments that govern how every Yutie engagement is run.

01
Understand before intervening
No domain is touched before all eight are mapped. The intervention plan comes after the diagnosis, not before it. A build that solves the wrong problem is a liability, not an asset.
02
Build things that do not require me to run them
Every system built by Yutie is documented, maintainable, and designed to function without permanent Yutie involvement. A dependency is not a partnership. It is a trap for both sides.
03
Tell the truth about the score
The Shalom Score is honest or it is useless. A domain that is struggling does not get a passing grade because the relationship is good. The score holds Yutie accountable as much as it informs the client.
04
Stay in the long years
The most valuable thing a technology partner can offer is continuity. The person who already knows your environment, your history, and your direction does not need to be briefed when something needs to change. That knowledge is earned over time and cannot be acquired any other way.
05
Limit active partnerships deliberately
The standing partner model requires depth of knowledge. Depth requires time. Yutie maintains a deliberately limited number of active partnerships so that each one gets the attention the model promises. A long waiting list is not a problem. It is evidence that the model is working.
06
Say directly if it is not the right fit
The discovery call ends with an honest answer. If Yutie is not the right standing partner for the organisation's current situation, that is said directly, and if possible, a better direction is pointed to. A partnership built on misaligned expectations costs both sides more than a rejected proposal ever would.
A decade in brief

Ten years of
building seriously.

Yutie Consulting has been operating for over a decade. The old model was reactive, underpriced, and built around projects that ended. The standing partner model is the deliberate structural break from that pattern.

2014 – 2016
First engagements
Early website and digital work for small businesses in Kenya. Learning the pattern: businesses underinvest in technology until something breaks, then pay emergency prices to fix it. The cost of this was visible from the first year.
2017 – 2019
Building for scale
First institutional and professional services clients. Website work expanding into operational systems, CRM, and more complex integrations. The distinction between a project and a partnership becomes clear.
2020 – 2022
Expanded scope
Development of the eight-domain framework. First Perfex CRM deployments. Work for international development organisations, faith sector platforms, and East African enterprise. HCC Cairo platform development.
2023 – 2024
Model refinement
The standing partner model takes its final form. Retainer tiers defined. Shalom Score framework formalised. Yutie OS built on Perfex CRM as the operational backbone of active partnerships.
2025 – Present
Yutie Consulting, current form
Retainer-only model fully operational. Yutie Charter locked. The Shalom Score as the primary accountability tool. Operating between Nairobi and Cairo, serving institutional and enterprise clients across East Africa and beyond.
What clients say

The work
speaks clearly.

"The website Yutie built for us now holds up in rooms with government ministers and enterprise clients. That was the problem we needed solved and it was solved exactly."

Spectrum Engineering Africa · ICT Infrastructure

"We launched with zero digital presence. After Yutie built the platform, enquiries from online opened within the first week. The conversion architecture is exactly right for the emotional reality of our clients."

Soar Visa & Consultancy Services · Professional Services

"Our institutional partners recognized Setaria the moment they landed on the website. The credibility signals were exactly right for the audience we needed to speak to."

Setaria Consulting · Research, Monitoring & Evaluation

One conversation.
Honest from the start.

The discovery call is 30 minutes. I ask real questions about your eight domains. You ask real questions about the partnership. By the end, we both know whether this is the right fit.
